Has there ever been a more fabulous evening than the first ever Fashion's Night Out in NYC? The whole night of celeb-studded parties, designers galore and stylish elbow-rubbing is destined to go down in fashion history!
And the designers weren't the only ones who had a ball! In fact, the West Village totally got all doll'd up!
Intermix—one of the hottest boutiques for trendsetters, A-listers and glam fashionistas—set up a shop-in-shop, and had the most stunningly styled windows with life-size doll boxes and Barbie dolls, too (shucks!). From floor to ceiling, the place looked just so chic! And the icing on the cake? Barbie makeovers from Stila artists helped style savvy fans get all doll’d up for the rest of their night. A total hit.
And I was tickled pink to be a sponsor of the Teen Vogue Block Party! “It” girls got exclusive Barbie FNO tees, party-goers won Barbie goodies and my favorite choreographer—JaQuel Knight—gave a crowd of 2,500 a little lesson in “The Barbie!” I gotta say: Those girls had moves!
To top off the night, fashion photographers Markus Klinko and Indrani (who’ve shot super celebs including Beyonce, Britney and Lady GaGa) unveiled their absolutely stunning and totally original photos of yours truly (you can bet I’ll be posting them soon)! Such an honor!
My only request? We have to do it again next year!
