Can any girl have just one fave fashion designer? Of course not!
But the ever notable trendsetter Robert Best might just live up to his name. Having created drool-worthy designs for everyone from Anne Klein to Isaac Mizrahi, the Parsons-bred style-savant has been designing some of my most covetable clothes since 1995. (What an honor, no?) If you were glued to Project Runway like I was, you have to love his simple, structured approach and super-cute attitude.
So you can only imagine the excitement over his guest appearance tonight at the NYC Bloomie’s! It was a happening event for fashion’s finest guys and dolls: A line snaked through the store, the press pen was busting at the seams, and the fans couldn’t get enough of Robert. Cheek-kisses were exchanged, a million of his iconic sketches were signed, and the smiles outshone the paparazzi flashbulbs! And—of course I say this every time I see him—Best has never looked better.

"I think my design style is always a little bit reality based. When I design for Barbie® doll, I think that I'm still designing clothes. I don't think I'm designing for a doll. If a woman responds to it thinking it's something she'd like to wear, I know it's been a success."
